Our services are VAT free.

Our minimum fee is £50 for 20 appliances. Each additional item tested thereafter will cost £1.70.

I am happy to negotiate discounts for customers with 100+ items that require testing, and can combine multiple sites. These prices apply for when a full inspection and test is carried out. Some Double Insulated items in low risk environments only require visual inspection, I can do this at a reduced rate (subject to the standard minimum charge), or you may do it yourself, see here for a PDF giving guidance, published by the HSE.

We can arrange a special out of hours service between 5:30pm and 10:30pm weekdays and 9:00am and 5:30pm Saturdays. For this service, no extra charge is made.

Special rates are available for charities who wish to have items tested and inspected for resale. Please email or phone for more details.

IEC leads will be tested as part of the appliance that they power, spare leads will be tested as a seperate item.

Total cost is inclusive of any minor work required (repair or replacement of defective plugs/fuses/IEC 'Kettle' Leads up to two metres long) and retesting to make the equipment tested compliant for up to 10% of items tested.
